About PROJECT: PLAYTIME
PROJECT: PLAYTIME is a multiplayer cooperative horror game set in an abandoned toy factory where six players must work together to survive and complete dangerous objectives.
Step into the role of a Resource Extraction Specialist and prepare for an intense multiplayer survival experience. Armed with the GrabPack—a powerful dual-armed tool equipped with extendable appendages—you'll grab objects, manipulate your environment, and solve intricate puzzles under mounting pressure. The GrabPack is your lifeline for interaction with the world around you, enabling creative problem-solving and tactical teamwork. As one of six survivors, your primary mission is to collect seven toy parts scattered throughout the factory, but many are locked behind challenging puzzles that demand speed and coordination before the Monster closes in.
This game takes a fresh approach to the toy factory formula by shifting focus from solo puzzle-solving to genuine multiplayer cooperation. Unlike traditional single-player horror experiences, PROJECT: PLAYTIME demands constant communication and synchronized strategies among all six players. The asymmetrical PvP design introduces a seventh player who controls the Monster, adding unpredictable pressure and forcing survivors to adapt their plans on the fly. Between matches, both Survivors and Monsters can earn and spend Toy Tickets—an in-game currency that unlocks valuable upgrades, allowing you to customize your playstyle and gain competitive advantages.
Fans of the earlier Poppy Playtime will discover familiar connections woven throughout the experience. The seventh player can embody notorious antagonists like Huggy Wuggy or Mommy Long Legs from the original chapters, or take control of the brand-new threat known as Boxy Boo. The distinctive set design and character roster create an immersive atmosphere that builds on the cult success of its predecessor while carving its own identity in cooperative multiplayer gaming.
Note that the game is still evolving, with known balancing challenges in the asymmetrical PvP dynamic and occasional server connectivity issues that the development team continues to address. Despite these ongoing refinements, PROJECT: PLAYTIME delivers an engaging multiplayer horror experience that emphasizes teamwork, quick thinking, and survival instincts in a chilling toy factory setting.
